I love Singapore. It is a a great city with a lot of fun activities and interesting people. So it´s with great interest that  I have a my eyes on the growing poker community in Singapore. Actually not only poker in Singapore but the rest of South East Asia. But I think that Singapore have a leading roll of getting the poker community to grow in Asia, next to Macau.

Singapore Poker Community
One of the biggest, if not the biggest forums for poker players in Singapore and South East Asia is PokerKaki poker community. PokerKaki is a platform where poker enthusiasts in Asia gather for news, discussions and meetups. So if you are really interested in poker in Asia, the Singapore poker community is the place to go. Check out the poker community – Poker in Singapore.

Singapore Poker Interview
About a year ago, I made an interview with owner of Poker Kaki, Chris Ow, about his thoughts about poker in Singapore and Asia. A really interesting interview, which can be read in full here (Poker In Singapore and Asia). At the time the 2 year old poker community had grown to 900 members strong. But I´m sure that the membership on the Singaporean poker community has grown  much stronger up to date.

Asian Poker Magazine – Baller Magazine
Just recently a new poker magazine open it´s doors for the Asian and Pacific poker market. The poker magazine has its focus on the Asian poker community. Baller Magazine describe themselves centered to the edgy, glamorous lifestyle aspect of poker. I´m really hoping that the poker magazine will hit big and spread around Asia. For subscriptions and newsletter check out (http://www.ballermagazine.com).

Visiting Singapore and Asia
I would really love to visit Singapore soon again. And maybe have the chance to meet up with some of the people in the Singapore poker community and people who are trying to make the poker game much more appreciated in Singapore and Asia. Would love to discuss how we can make it grow and make it more fun and reachable for everyone. But next on my schedule after going back to Malta is the CAP meeting in London in late January. After that? Well, lets see.
